I can determine how to compute mole conversions?

SC2.c: Chemical Reactions and Stoichiometry - The learner will apply concepts of the mole and Avogadro's number to conceptualize and calculate: empirical formulas, mass, mole, and molecules relationships and molar volumes of gases.

Mole Conversions

  1. Virtual Office Hours - 10:30a - 12:00p

            a. Remind - use the Remind App or email to send me questions.

            b. Picture of Work - send a picture of work with your questions so I can see what problems you are having.

            c. Daily Help Session - Meet on ZOOM at 1:00p each day. Use the same Meeting ID each day.

            d. Small Group Help Session - if you want to sign up for a small group help session, send me a Remind and I will set one up.

          b. Download Video 701 - Notetaking Guide and Download Video 701 - Problem Set 1- print out and take notes or take notes in your CHILL NB

          c. Highlight the Vocab on the Notetaking Guide:

                1. Avogadro's Number

                2. Molar Mass

                3. Molar Mass of an Element

                4. Molar Mass of a Compound

    3. Practice Mole Conversions - WS: Mole Problems

        a. Download Video 701 - WS - Mole Problems - print out or work problems in your CHILL NB

        b. ZOOM at 1p to get tips on determining types of reactions

        c. MUST show all work using DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS

    4. Tips on Mole Conversion Problems- 1p ZOOM Session

    5. HW - turn in the following finished work to your folder
