Naming covalent compounds and acids

1. Virtual Office Hours - 10:30a - 12:00p

    a. Remind - use the Remind App or email to send me questions.

    b. Picture of Work - send a picture of work with your questions so I can see what problems you are having.

    c. Daily Help Session - Meet on ZOOM at 1:00p each day. Use the same Meeting ID each day.

    d. Small Group Help Session - if you want to sign up for a small group help session, send me a Remind and I will set one up.

2. Review Ionic, Covalent or Acids

    a. Review Sheet = Download 06--Acid-Ionic-Covalent Funsheet

    b. Be sure to use the Polyatomic Ion Chart on page 6.2 of Video 601

    c. Polyatomic Ions not on the list

            selenate = SeO4-2

            benzoate = C7H5O2-1

            aluminate = AlO2-1

            arsenate = AsO4-3

            molybdate = MoO4-2

            tungstate = WO4-2

            thiocyanate = CNS-1

            borate = BO3-3

    d. OPTION 1 = Download the Review Sheet to your computer -this is a Word Document - you can fill in your answers in the Word Document  Submit your finished document to your folder.

    e. OPTION 2 = Print a copy of the Review Sheet, complete it, then take a picture of the sheet and submit it to your folder.

    f. OPTION 3 = CHILL NB - title your page: Acid-Ionic-Coavlent Funsheet - copy the problems into your CHILL NB, complete the work, then take a picture of the sheet and submit it to your folder.

3. Review: - 1p ZOOM

4. Finished- Turn in Acid-Ionic-Covalent Funsheet to your folder
