2. Magnetism

3. Electron Behavior - Wave or Particle?

Episode 303 - Electrons in the Atom

4. Waves - label a wavelength, amplitude, crest, trough, frequency

5. HW - Lab - finish lab questions and conclusion

Lab Elements = Boron, Silicon, Sulfur, Calcium, Arsenic, Iodine, Rubidium, Chromium, Gallium, Platinum

Lab Questions:

1. Why are the outer-most electrons the only ones included in the orbital filling diagram and the electron dot diagram?

2. The orbital filling diagram has arrows pointing in opposite directions when two electrons occupy the same orbital. What do these arrows indicate?

3. How many electrons do the elements in Group 2 of the periodic table have in their electron dot diagram?

4. Element X has an electron dot diagram with 5 dots. Name at least two elements which could be X.

5. Identify the element which has the following orbital filling diagram.  5s has 2 arrows and 5p has 2 arrows
